Available GPS Tours on the Ned Kelly Trail!

Welcome to the Ned Kelly GPS Tour, where, from the comfort of your own vehicle, we will take you on a journey back in time along the Ned Kelly Touring Route to nineteenth century Victoria – a pioneering territory full of the hopes and dreams of an emerging nation. Yet, while Australia is located far from the oppression of mother England, a battle continues to be waged by struggling selectors against old world greed and discrimination from the prosperous squatters and government officials. One such battle was Ned Kelly’s.

Our journey encompasses 3 distinct tour routes along the Ned Kelly Trail from Beveridge to Glenrowan and then on to Beechworth and the Woolshed Valley.  Finally, you will return through Greta to Stringybark Creek and Mansfield:

Beveridge to Glenrowan GPS Tour

From the probable place of Ned Kelly's birth to the demise of his infamous Kelly Gang, your journey along the Hume Highway will be one full of history and awe.

On the way you'll visit locations in and around Wallan, Beveridge, Avenel, Euroa, Benalla and Glenrowan and experience an understanding of Kelly Country the way it was more than 130 years ago.

Beechworth and Woolshed Valley GPS Tour

The area around Beechworth and the Woolshed Valley played a significant role in the lives of not only the Kelly Gang but many of their family and friends.

From the imposing sand stone gaol in Beechworth to the rolling hills and deep valleys of the Woolshed, this was the place that witnessed pivotal moments in the fortunes of Ned, Joe, Dan and Steve.

Greta to Mansfield GPS Tour

Two of the most significant events which shaped the Kelly Gang occurred on this section of the tour.

An exploration of the story of Ned Kelly would not be complete without visiting the long time home of Ned's mother Ellen, location of the 'Fitzpatrick Incident' which ultimately led to the shootout and deaths of three policemen at Stringybark Creek.
